 Kala Aur Katha is engaged in creating contemporary and innovative designs in collaboration with community using art practices. With fifteen years of journey in sustainable development projects premised on the need of thought based contemporary ideas, Kala Aur katha focuses on value on endangered material knowledge, exploration, and design-innovation. Our project encompasses design development, revival of lost traditions and contemporary artistic practices. The process aims to build a new dialogue with community to create a mutual learning environment. We want to engage with artistic practices as therapeutic medium of expression. With changing natural environment around us, we aim at art & designs that focus on climate crisis, sustainable ideas, conservation and community based work with emphasis on local craft, skill and eco system.
